The Rochester Black Nurses Association (RBNA) is committed to empowering and advancing the next generation of Black nurses through scholarships and leadership development opportunities.
Made possible by the Greater Rochester Health Foundation Racial Equity Grant
This scholarship supports nurses who are actively pursuing educational degrees or certifications that prepare them for leadership roles in healthcare.
Eligible applicants include those enrolled in:
Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral nursing programs
Specialty or leadership certification programs
Other formal education paths that enhance clinical or administrative nursing practice

Each year, RBNA honors exceptional members and community organizations who embody excellence, advocacy, and impact in nursing and public health.
We invite you to submit nominations for:
1 outstanding RBNA member
1 impactful community member or organization
